The ‘truth’ is a teaching guide for life. Speaking ‘truth’ will bring persecution. The teachings of Yeshua are ‘truth’ because he is the ‘truth’ (John 14:6). Obeying the ‘truth’ sets God’s people apart from the rest of the world. True worship requires ‘truth’ (John 4:24).

“But the time is coming – indeed, it’s here now – when the true (faithful)  worshippers will worship the Father spiritually and truly (rightly), for these are the kind of people the Father wants worshipping him.  God is spirit; and worshippers must worship him spiritually and truly” (John 4:23-24).
