The 50 days between Firstfruits and Feast of Weeks is not Jewish in an ethnic sense or Christian in a religious sense but is divinely appointed in a Biblical sense and therefore remains eternal and universal.

“This is how Na‘omi returned, with Rut the woman from Mo’av, her daughter-in-law, accompanying her from the plain of Mo’av. They arrived in Beit-Lechem at the beginning of the barley harvest” (Ruth 1:22).
