hatah means ‘offence against God or man.’ Sin is found 1445 times in the Bible. Sin is not defined by man, but by the Word of God. In Hebrew thought, sin is falling short of God’s glory which is outlined in Torah; it is a failure to reach the goal, missing the mark, and ‘crouches like a beast’ waiting to attack
There is a gospel tract handed out by Christians that outlines the method for bringing someone to accept Jesus (Yeshua) as Savior. It is called “The Roman Road” and follows Sha’ul’s teachings from the book of Romans. After reading through “The Roman Road,” I felt there needed to be a few more stones in that road, stones that lead a person further down the road to sanctification and their eternal destiny.
