Bake 350˙ for about 10 minutes.
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup butter, softened
2 large eggs
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 cup cold water
4 1/2 cups unbleached flour
Assorted colored frostings or make homemade frosting and color. Assorted sprinkles.
Cream together the butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat. Add soda, water, and flour. Mix together until it can be rolled out.
Using Hanukkah shapes, cut out cookies. Bake. Frost with different colors and sprinkles.
