The Alef, the Ox, and the Manger

In the Hebrew alphabet, the first letter alef coincides with the first commandment in Exodus 20:2-3:

“I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.  “You shall have no other gods before me.”

א Alef has the Hebrew word picture of an Ox meaning ‘first, strength.’

The Ox is the ‘first strength’ of God.   Where there is no Ox, the manger remains empty.

From the ‘first strength’ of the Ox comes an abundant harvest.

The ‘first strength’ of God is in His Son, Yeshua.  Through God’s ‘first strength,’ the manger will bring forth an abundant harvest.

“Where there are no oxen, the manger is empty, but from the strength of an ox come abundant harvests” (Proverbs 14:4).
