“Then the Adonai Elohim made a woman from the flesh he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. The man said, ‘This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman,’ for she was taken out of man.’ That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh” (Genesis 2:22-24).
For years I’ve heard nothing but ‘separation of church and state’ every time the ‘church’ wanted to affect the ‘state’. But now the tenet of ‘separation of church and state’ seems to have become either blurred or null and void.
Marriage is a religious institution, defined in the Bible as being between a man and a woman. This religious institution should remain separate from state intrusion if that’s the cry of those who want no religion mixed within state affairs. May Adonai have mercy on this country and those federal supreme court judges who changed the parameters for men and women marrying, becoming one flesh and procreating.
Another sad day not just for the United States, but for anyone who holds to Biblical Truths that are now controlled by the state contrary to the rantings of separation by those who are ‘tolerant’. Freedom of religion from state control is why the pilgrims left England for a new land and why the Founding Fathers established freedom of religion in America.
