Several weeks ago I had a discussion with my son about gentile believers going to the synagogue to hear God’s Word so they can be a light for Yeshua. His question was, “What would a small synagogue of 50 think of 1000s upon 1000s of Messianic gentiles standing outside asking to hear God’s Word? Wouldn’t they want to know why? Wouldn’t that be a great opportunity to share Yeshua with his brothers and sisters?” What a concept! Our denominational ideologies have not only divided us from each other, but our church doctrines keep us out of the very place God-fearing gentiles used to go: the synagogue.

Your Vote, The Declaration of Independence and the Constitutional Republic
There is another election coming up and people across the country are wondering who should be put in the office of the President of the United States. Convictions range from someone who is progressively liberal to staunch conservative to even libertarian with views of free will for everyone. Yet, very few people mention the founding documents of this country, why we declared our independence and wrote a constitution to protect our citizens from enduring tyranny (under an absolute ruler) or oligarchy (being ruled by a small group of people).
The Western Wall of Partition
When I was at the Western Wall on the Shabbat, I wondered why the men were dancing in circles and praising God with loud voices, but the women were not. I asked some young women who were studying at a yeshiva (school for religious study) in Jerusalem. I was told that ‘only men dance’. I asked why they could not praise God through the dance. Were they not joyful too? It was the Shabbat after all! They didn’t know the answer.
What is Biblical Judaism?
Yeshua taught ‘Biblical Judaism.’ He did not remove or destroy the Torah and Prophets, the Words of His Father. He came to live them out the way they were meant to be lived out: with love for Adonai and love for his neighbor. His ‘yoke,’ the ‘yoke’ of his Father is light and easy (Matthew 28:11-30). John, his disciple, understood his teachings and wrote that the “Torah is not burdensome” (1 John 5:3).
